“Going Green” is a threat to consumption, obviously. So, how do corporations who blatantly produce environmentally harmful products combat the inevitable slump in sales as their consumers make more educated, conscious decisions about the products they buy? They embrace it. They make “going green” their new company tagline, produce happy commercials about the new garbage-powered factory or chemical clean-ups.
It’s getting silly.
