This is a real email from a real client that I work with on my own time, the budget was not large. His comments are regarding a website that was approved and launched 3 months ago… a very small Wordpress installation that allowed his staff to update content. I received this email today, the day before they are doing some advertising and I guess he had some thoughts. Read below.

Our site looks like an advertisement for senior citizens
Where’s the pizazz? The flash? The glitz? I want something that jumps out and grabs your attention. Where’s the ‘award winning‘ site we paid for?” (He kept saying ‘Award Winning’ site in our early meetings…)
1) The logo needs to be more prominent. Can you make the colors inside the lettering blink in succession???
2) Next, I need a line: ‘YOU CAN BE A WINNER!’ in as large of flashing text as you can get at top of text area
I need this done this evening!
